Anyone seen my mojo?
I think it's still on vacation, because I am so NOT inspired right now, BUT I had to go in to the stamp room this weekend because the pledge I made right here has been nagging away at me. I started off well, then the lead up to the vacation sort of side tracked me, then the actual vacation derailed me totally! Which isn't fair at all when you consider how much these cards are needed so I got over my whiney self and got on with it.
120 cards is a lot of cards! I sort of froze with the responsibility of it all because I wanted them to be great, but I needed them to be simple so I could produce slightly faster than my normal rate of one card per weekend! I do subscribe to the "more is more" theory of card making, so it has been a real challenge for me to simplify. But the internet never lets me down! Thanks to the CAS gallery at SCS and this card from one of my favorite bloggers, I was off and running and all the cards are sealed in their box ready for shipping.
And I've found a new style of card making! I'm kind of liking the CAS style.

That CAS Style is addicting, isn't it? SOmetimes when I am stuck try to do one of them and it helps spark my creativity. This is cute, I like the paper!
Oh this is just perfect and you know.. I love CAS too... I just can't do them well!!! Love this because it has many elements while still being CAS... there's texture, layering, wonderful sentiment... so it's the perfect card for your huge commitment! Congrats on getting them all done!!! Big pats on the back for you!!!
Great CAS card! I love CAS because you don't overwhelm the recipient too much. I always want my message in the card to stand out more than the card itself. Even with this card's simplicity, that's impressive that you got them all done! Good for you, Kay!
Great CAS card!
hi Kay, CAS cards are fab for if you're in a hurry or if you have loads to do. Have you recovered from the Scottish air now?

Nice job on the CAS! Sometimes I fuss over them as much as the others too though, striving so hard for simplicity it takes five hours to make a five minute card . . how's that for wasting time? I like your heart and the colors, very nice.
You know that I'm a BIG fan of CAS - you did a wonderful job!
CAS-ing can be awesome, can't it?! And the SCS gallery has just too, too many wonderful ideas to not find something worthwhile to CAS. BTW: I think your Mojo is just fine...but if you think it's still walking around somewhere and runs into MINE, tell it to tell mine to get back to ME! :) I feel ya on the vacation derailing... :)
I also wanted to add that I left you a little blog award on my blog, if you're interested! Just a little something from one "Ocean's" gal to another.
Have a fantastic day!
You found your mojo!! It is back! This is beautiful! And I love the CAS look, even though I struggle with it!
