Anything but square or rectangular....... so I took the easy way out and made a round card using a winter ragamuffin.
And then because I was on a roll, I made another using Sprocket and a variation of the monochromatic technique I have been seeing around blog land. It's harder than it looks, especially when it comes to the hair - I'm confessing this was my second attempt and it still didn't come out as I envisioned it in my head. I suppose that's why it's called a challenge though, right?

Confession of a time crunched crafter...
4 very important birthdays this month and so far this is the only card I've made rather than bought. I like it though. It's (very closely) adapted from a sample in the 2102 amuse catalog - so many cute sets in there and I haven't placed my first order yet! That's on today's "to do" list, along with a heap of other crafty delights.
And finally my wafer thin die adapter thingy has arrived at my LSS, so I will be able to use my new Vagabond with my old nestabilities and my not so old amuse dies - happy days!!

Pinterest Inspired
Like everyone else in the crafty world, I love me some Pinterest and can totally loose track of time while browsing there, but, for me, the difference between this piece of heaven on the interweb and many of the other places I love to visit is that for some reason I actually do/make some of the things I pin. I've even made a board where I can pin the things I've made, as opposed to just the things I've pinned.
There is so much inspiration there and so many great cards ideas! So when Mr. Mojo takes a vacation, head over to Pinterest and see if you can find him - or take a walk on the wild side and cheat on him with some of the fabulousness you will find.
This card, which I made for a one of my favorite babies first brithday was inspired by/copied from this card by Kryssi at Sugar Buffet Studios. I loved everything about her card and adapted it to work with what I had on hand. My sentiment came from a*muse studios "birthday greetings" set, the star dies are also from a*muse, as is the card stock.

Saturated Canary Challenge # 10
Love, love, love Krista's images! I first saw them on the Sugar Nellie blog and was delighted to learn they were available in digital format right here. Then I found the challenge blog right here - just what I need to help me get out of the stamping doldrums I have been in the for the last year or so. Here's my entry in to the Red, White and Pink challenge. I love this image - isn't she just perfect for a Valentines card?
